The ASWB exam, in your pocket

Passing this exam is mostly repetition, and repetition happens in the gaps — a commute, a waiting room, twenty minutes before a shift. The app holds 2,169 practice questions with a worked rationale on every one, 124 written lessons, and 12 full-length 122-question mocks. All of it works with no signal at all.

What it looks like on your phone

Read the lessons, drill the questions, sit a full-length timed mock and see where you actually stand — all of it on the device, no signal required.

  • Every ASWB exam — LCSW, LMSW, BSW and MSW, all five categories for one price. The phone shows a practice question about a colleague using an assessment tool she was never trained to score, asking what the social worker should do FIRST.
  • Every option explained. The phone shows a question on what the NASW Code of Ethics says about violating a standard and legal liability, with the correct option marked and a rationale explaining why each wrong answer is wrong.
  • 124 lessons of social work teaching, 221,000 words. The phone shows the Confidentiality lesson from Chapter IA — an 11-minute read with 24 questions — open at "Why this matters in practice".
  • 12 mock exams, 122 questions, timed. The phone shows section 1 of 2 with a two-hour countdown and the exam’s own tools — highlight, review, text size and contrast — above question 1 of 122.
  • Scored like the real exam: 92 of 110 scored questions correct on mock 2 of 12, broken down by content area, with a note that the readiness target is ours rather than ASWB’s and is not a prediction.
  • All 10 chapters against the 2026 blueprint, with every weight stated — Values and Ethics at 36% of your exam, Assessment and Planning at 32% — and lesson and question counts for each.
  • Honest readiness: a "Well placed" reading based on 1,464 questions answered and 74 of 116 lessons finished, weighted by how much of the exam each area is worth, stated plainly as our own reading and not a prediction.

Features

Built around how the exam actually works

Built around the published content outline: read, practice, simulate and measure — across all ten chapters.

2,169 exam-style questions

Single-best-answer questions in the real exam format, each with a clear explanation — so every wrong answer teaches you something.

Full rationales, every question

Spaced repetition resurfaces a card just before you would forget it, so definitions, tests and time limits stick with less review time.

Unlimited mock exams

Full 122-question, 4-hour simulations plus single-section runs — drawn fresh from the question bank every attempt.

Study notes for 124 written lessons

Concise notes with statute cards, flowcharts and key authorities for every topic ASWB tests.

Weak-area analytics

Per-subject accuracy, study streaks and exam readiness show you exactly where the next mark comes from.

Built for offline

Every question, practice question and note ships inside the app. Study on the train, on a plane, in the library basement.

Yes. It is a universal iOS app, so the same download runs on iPhone and iPad and your progress follows your Apple account across both. The larger iPad screen suits reading the study notes and sitting full 122-question mock exams.
Not yet — the app is iPhone and iPad only. On Android or any other device you can study in the browser at aswbmaster.com, which has its own full question bank, practice questions and mock exams.
Both are built by ASWB Master, but they are separate products with separate access. The app is designed for studying on your phone and works completely offline, with an in-app subscription. The website runs in any browser and is a one-time payment for lifetime access. Progress does not sync between them.
Yes — completely. All questions, practice questions and study notes are bundled inside the app, so quizzes, mock exams and notes all work in airplane mode.
2,169 questions at the last count, of which at least 1,987 apply to whichever exam you are taking. Distributed across the seven the exam subjects, each with a worked explanation.
Yes. It is built on the ASWB content outline effective 3 August 2026 — the blueprint that took effect this August — across all three content areas and ten chapters.
Yes — single best answer, in the style of ASWB's own published samples: usually a short vignette about a real person, followed by four options, testing whether you can choose the right next action rather than recite a definition. Every question carries a worked explanation covering why the right answer is right and why each distractor is wrong.
Yes. Every question, practice question and study note is bundled inside the download rather than streamed, so quizzes, timed mock exams and notes all work in airplane mode, on the Underground and anywhere else without signal.
