Social work licensure by state

Which ASWB exam you sit is decided by your jurisdiction, and the license titles vary enormously between them — LBSW in one state, LSW in the next, LSWA in a third for broadly the same thing.

We publish a state’s requirements only once we have read them on that board’s own site, and every page carries the date we last checked. Rules change, and a confident-looking page that is a year stale is worse than no page. 51 of 51 have been through that check so far.
